About Me

I am a first-year CS Ph.D. student at the Case Western Reserve University, supervised by Prof. Gourav Datta.

Previously, I was a Ph.D. student at the University of California, Merced, supervised by Prof. Meng Tang.
I received my M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, working with EESSC, advised by Prof. Peter A. Beerel and Dr. Gourav Datta. I am extremely grateful for their guidance and help, especially during the tough time in my life.
I received my B.E. degree in Digital Media Technology from the Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, advised by Prof. Chenqiang Gao. I was deeply influenced by Professor Gao who introduced me to research.

My research interests are computer vision and efficient deep learning. More specifically:

  • Generative Vision-Language Models
  • Efficient Deep Learning
  • Infrared Image Processing

In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano, guitar and harmonica. I was a member of the Bobcat Band at UC Merced. Currently, I focus on learning music composition and arrangement.
